We had the privilege of doing yet another glorious red & white floral theme for a couple who had an intimate wedding reception at the iconic Carcosa Seri Negara just last weekend.

The ceremony was held indoors at the Gulai House. The red roses were in full bloom and made a stunning presence alongside the white interior of the room.

A brief introduction to Ozzy follows...

Osman Majid affectionately known as " Ozzy " to all his clients and friends is a celebrity florist from London, England.
Ozzy started his career in 1993 at The Flower Van on the forecourt of Sir Terence Conran's famous Michelin Building in Chelsea, London. The then young aspiring florist was mentored by one of London's finest florists John Carter.

Ozzy became an instant hit and became known as the " Bouquet Master " with his beautiful arrangements attracting a host of A-list celebrities. Ozzy has arranged flowers for The late Princess Diana, Sir Elton John, Lulu, Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Aniston,
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and Jamie Oliver.

Ozzy defines his style as simple but effective.
He strongly believes that flowers should compliment an occasion and not overwhelm it.
He promotes timeless elegance with his vision and designs.

Ozzy returned home to Malaysia in 2008, and is proud to now be a part of One Red Lily.

Flowers have been an integral part of weddings for almost as long as the ceremonies have occurred. With so many flowers & so many styles to choose from, brides are often confused as to how to go about choosing the right bouquet for the Big Day.
A bouquet should complement your personality, proportions, and attire, remaining in the general aesthetic theme of the day. To choose the right color combination for a bouquet, consider your own taste, but also the time of day, the season, and the atmosphere of your location.

Providing the florist with a photo of the dress can also be useful when it comes to choosing the ribbon trim. If the gown's bodice is embellished with elaborate beadwork or lace, a pared-down bouquet will look best. A relatively unadorned bodice provides a neutral background for a more complex arrangement of flowers, though a bouquet as tailored and clean as the dress would also be striking.

Whether you select a monochromatic palette, choose the same flower in a range of colors, or mix and match, your bouquet should contain elements that can be developed into motifs. Among the mauve roses of your bouquet, for instance, tuck two yellow ranunculuses that match the pocket posies of the ring bearers. Or create a halo of miniature fall foliage around a red nosegay to echo the garlands on the tent.
The bridesmaids' arrangements may pick up a flower or color from the bride's or echo its shape; the smaller bouquets should relate to each other, but they don't have to be a matched set. If you prefer to carry a white bouquet, make a statement with the bridesmaids' flowers.

The palest and softest nuptial bouquets are often a bride's first choice, but they are by no means her only one. Today, more and more women choose to walk down the aisle carrying a glorious bundle of bright-colored blossoms. In doing so, the bride makes a passionate statement -- the vivid hues of her bouquet are reflective of the intensity of her emotions.

Tip to hold a bouquet:
With the handle securely in both hands, extend your arms downward so the bouquet is just below your waist. Point your elbows out just a bit, revealing the curve of your waist.

Tip for “toss bouquet”:
It's easy to lose track of the bridal bouquet after it's tossed. If you want to save it, have the florist make a "toss bouquet" -- a small, inexpensive posy made to be thrown over the shoulder to guests.
